Have you heard?! The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has been chosen and it comes from right here in our little town of Columbus! The tree will arrive in NYC on November 7th and be lit during the televised Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting on December 2nd, remaining lit through mid-January. The 76 feet tall tree is 50 feet wide and weighs about 11 tons! The tree was planted by Carl Camenga in the early 1970s who also built the home next to it on State Route 8. Ten years after Carl's death, a little piece of Columbus is heading to the Big Apple to celebrate his favorite holiday!
